Guess it’s not a wrap for Fabolous after all.
TMZ reports that the Brooklyn emcee has struck a plea deal in his domestic violence case involving ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Girlfriend Emily B.
In the plea agreement, he’ll avoid jail and his charges will be dismissed as long as he completes an intervention program and stays out of trouble.
Per his attorney Brian Neary, Fabolous will have to provide a status update at least once a month, as part of the rules of the new deal. But, he will not have to enroll in therapy or anger management courts.
Originally facing 20 years behind bars, it’s a no brainer that the plea deal is a big win for “Soul Tapes” artist.
Last October, Fab was indicted on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, one count of possession of a weapon (scissors), and two counts of threatening to kill his longtime girlfriend.
Caught on video, he also threatened her father and brother. The 40-year-old rapper, whose real name John David Jackson, was arrested and charged with assault.
Fabolous and Emily, who share two children together, have since fixed things in their relationship and remain a couple today.
There are no additional details on when Fab will enter the intervention program.

There are rumors circulating that Emily B has reconciled with Fabolous following his violent assault on her months ago. In fact, a source claims the rapper is living with Emily B again.
Fans were outraged to learn that Emily appeared to be entertaining the idea of a reconciliation with Fabolous. The pair were even reportedly spotted holding hands at Coachella.
The couple's rumored reunion comes after Fabolous requested a delay in court proceedings on the charges Emily brought against him.
She claims he threatened her and her father with violence and later punched her in the face 7 times, breaking her front teeth.
Footage from the incident showed him threatening her father and brother. The 40-year-old rapper, whose real name John David Jackson, was arrested and charged with assault.
Fabolous was charged with third-degree aggravated assault and third-degree terroristic threats.
He was set to appear in court in the aggravated assault trial, but had it delayed until mid-May.
Fabolous was reportedly angry after he discovered through Instagram that Emily B was in Los Angeles on March 7 while he was also there on business.
Court documents stated that Fabolous "became enraged" and threatened Emily. His text messages stated he wanted to hit her in the head with a bat, but he "did not want to go out like that." He also allegedly said he wanted to kill her.
If convicted, he could face three to five years in prison along with up to $15,000 in fines for the assault charge.
Fab and Emily, who share two children together, are now said to be living together again in NYC.
The JasmineBrand reported, "The public doesn’t really know this, but they live together again. They were back together shortly after the situation blew up on social media."
The situation was her loved one's worst nightmare, after previously stating they doubted she would leave the rapper.
After the assault, a source stated, "Emily is staying with family right now but she and Fab are talking daily and he’s begging her for another chance."
The insider shared, "She hasn’t taken him back yet but a lot of her friends fear it’s only a matter of time before she does because she’s already started making excuses for him. They’ve broken up and gotten back together so many times over the years, it’s hard for her friends to believe that she’ll stick to it this time. The only saving grace is that this is out of her hands now that the courts are involved."
Are you surprised Emily B has taken Fabolous back after being beaten?
