Season 9 of Love & Hip Hop: New York is coming to an end BUT it’s already the end for one of its stars, Juelz Santana.
TheBlast reports that the Harlem rapper has checked into the FCI Petersburg Medium facility in Hopewell, Virginia to start his 27-month prison.
In case you forgot, Santana plead guilty last year and was sentence to 2-years in prison from his possession of a firearm and carrying a weapon on an aircraft.
Santana tried to get away by leaving the airport in a taxi, but ultimately turned himself in three days later.
Juelz was originally facing up to 10-year sentence, but was able to negotiate a 27 month plea deal.
At the top of the year, a judge delayed his surrender date from Jan. 30 to Feb. 28 so that he could film the full season of Love & Hip Hop: New York, including the reunion episodes taped in Georgia.
In January, Santana married his long-time girlfriend, Kimbella in a wedding ceremony that included Lil Kim, Jim Jones, Cam’Ron, Maino, Joe Budden and other celebrity guests.
Reportedly Kimbella is pregnant with Juelz Santana’s baby and will make announcement during one of the Season 9 reunion episodes.
No additional details about Juelz’s prison stint have been released.

Big congratulations are in order for Love & Hip Hop co-stars Juelz Santana and Kimbella.
The two finally get married Thursday night (January 10) in a private ceremony after 10 years of dating. Celebrity guests for the nuptials included Lil' Kim and Juelz rap brothers with the Dipset: Cam'Rom, Jim Jones & Freekey Zekey.
The couple share two kids: 8-year-old Juelz Santana James and 6-year-old Bella Monroe James.
Santana proposed to current bride late last year at the Apollo Theater in NYC.
The Harlem emcee told the audience: "This my lady. She’s been rocking with me for a long, long time. She stuck it out with a [expletive] through the ups and downs. I love you, baby. You’re my queen and I want to do this in front of everybody right here."
Juelz's proposal to Kimbella was in the midst of him fighting serious gun charges. The rap star was taken into custody in March 2018 after TSA agents found a loaded firearm inside his luggage.
Realizing that he brought a weapon inside an airport, Santana opted to run out of Newark Liberty International Airport. He turned himself into authorities three days later.
While many people on the internet suspected the proposal came because he thought Kimbella would stray during his incarceration, Juelz insists that wasn't the reason.
He shared on Instagram: "If I was worried about someone taking her then I wouldn’t of [sic] did it. If someone take ya lady, a ring ain't gonna stop nothing. U just gonna be out of a ring n a lady. What u saying makes no sense… Stay blessed tho fam."
About a month after he and Kimbella got engaged, Santana was sentenced to 27 months in prison. His surrender date is not public at the moment
