Time for a round of applause? We think so.
Monica is the latest celebrity from the R&B/hip hop realm to chime in on the “bromance” between Kanye West and Donald Trump.
The songstress firstly believes that the dynamic between Trump and Kanye needs to be thrown under a magnifying glass…and that isn’t all!
However, with the White House meeting between the Chicago rapper and former reality television star, there is much more harm than good coming from such gatherings, she noted.
She feels their alliance will “continuously hurt us”, especially “if we aren’t all speaking together in the right places, making the right decisions, doing it the right.”
To be clear, her issue is not tied to Kanye trying to cultivate a peaceful back-and-forth with the politician. It’s that he has gone about it in such a conflicting, divisive way.
“At this point, the whole relationship needs to be assessed and completely demolished,” Monica added.
She co-signed T.I’s prior sentiments.
“Some of what is being said is important,” she shared. “But is he the president to help us create all of this change? I don’t think so.”

Looks like Kanye's love for Trump has forced some famous friends to cut him off.
According to an RadarOnline.com exclusive report, Beyoncé and JAY-Z are officially done with Kanye’s pro-Trump nonsense, labeling his recent antics “bull[expletive]”. It seems the couple are “outraged over his political rants."
They apparently "think Kanye is a disgrace and is only doing this for attention” so the Carters "cannot associate themselves with them [Kanye and Kim] from this point forward."
In other words, we aren't getting Watch the Throne 2 anytime soon.
Yup. Kanye grabbed headlines with his recent Saturday Night Live appearance, because he went on a post-show pro-Trump rant, while wearing a MAGA hat.
“So many times I talk to a white person and [they] say, ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?’ Well, if I was concerned about racism, I would have moved out of America a long time ago,” Kanye stated, before denying claims that he’s in the “sunken place.”
Kanye previously tried to defend his pro-MAGA attitude, stating, "I feel that [Donald Trump] cares about the way Black people feel about him. And he would like for Black people to like him like when he was cool in the rap songs. And he will do the things that are necessary to make that happen because he's got an ego like all the rest of us, and he wants to be the greatest president.”
“He knows that he can't be the greatest president without the acceptance of the Black community. It's something he's going to work towards."
Okay, okay. Spill your take.
